II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

Merchandising Responsibilities

  • To push the benefits of all Canon brands (PSD/ICB) to all consumers
  • Knowledgeable in all Canon products (PSD/ICB)
  • To endorse the price campaign of all Canon products (PSD/ICB)
  • Should be aware about the proper planogram and merchandising setup, 
  • Efficient communication and dissemination of Canon products (PSD/ICB) and promotions to the consumers
  • Smooth and timely implementation of trade programs and promotions
  • Shopper In-sightings
  • Submits required merchandising reports on time such as but not limited to:

Types or Reports

  • Sellout Report (Daily through Trade Mktg. App)
  • Inventory Report (Daily through Trade Mktg. App)
  • Price Survey (Weekly through Trade Mktg. App)
  • Competitive Reports (Weekly through Trade Mktg. App)
  • Ensures other required reports are submitted on time
  • Wear proper uniform
  • Reports on time on her assigned outlet
  • Ensures that no competitive products will be used or consumed during the conduct of any activity inside trade or event venues
  • Shall not accept any product samples from any suppliers or ageny personnel in the supermarket
  • Shall report any wrongdoing or questionable acts of colleagues or supervisors to either Area Coordinators (PSD/ICB) and Account Manager
  • Implementation of the Code of Discipline

Reportorial Responsibilities

  • Monitor, Review and Ensure submission of required reports of on-going projects on agreed dates
  • Ensure that all completed activities are supported by Post Activity Evaluation Report and submitted to Area Coordinators (PSD/ICB) on time

Warehousing/Storage Systems and Control

  • Ensure that the warehousing Policies and Guidelines are properly implemented in the store
  • Conduct monthly physical count of the client’s stocks and logistics materials (merchandising materials, supplies, POP/POS, and other related merchandising equipment’s and materials)

Market Monitoring

  • Regular monitor development of trade keeping both client and head office well informed of changes and other situations in the market
  • Always in the look out for new competitive products, price changes, promotional activities, and significant market tends of value of clients.

Key Performance Indicators              

  • Ensures 100% complete attendance 
  • Projects Execution within established budgets and deadlines
  • Ensures reports are submitted on agreed time line
  • Achieves Individual Sales Targets to achieve its monthly incentives

III. CONFIDENTIALITY

  • Maintain the secrecy of any proprietary information such as marketing, operations plans, new product launches, and the like.

IV. COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS SKILLS REQUIRED

  • College level
  • Age Requirement: At least 18 – 25 years of age (depending on approved store policies on age requirements)
  • At least 1-3 years experience on BA deployment and sampling activations.
  • Good communication skills in both English and Filipino
  • Very good in interpersonal skills (sociable, approachable, polite, accommodating, customer and people-oriented)
  • Must be computer literate (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, E-mail)
  • Well organized, innovative and creative thinker
  • Can work under pressure
  • Willing to work on long hours
  • Positive work attitude
  • Aggressive and pro-active 
  • With experience on Selling
  • Should have their own mobile phones (Minimum of Android V8 or higher) to install the Trade Marketing App 
  • Can make an outright decision to resolve any problems that arise
