PRIMARY FUNCTION

  • Overall administrative and operational supervision of his merchandising group.
  • Supervision of merchandising activities and distribution and control of all merchandising materials/supplies of merchandisers assigned to him.
  • Supervision and control of all in-store promotional activities and staff.
  • Develop rapport and harmonious relationship with Client, Outlet Managers, Supervisors, and employees under his area of coverage.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Responsibilities

  1. Administrative

 

  • Submits required merchandising reports on time such as but not limited to:


Types of Reports Frequency

  • Inventory / Stock movement Weekly
  • Rider’s Daily Checklist Report Bi-monthly
  • Daily Activity Report Bi-monthly
  • Merchandisers Headcount/ Schedule Monthly
  • Ensures to submit on time and complete all required reports
  • Attends to Merchandisers’/Ops Crew timesheet and other accounting problems/requirements.
  • Dissemination of information to his/her Merchandisers/FSO Ops Crew
  • Responsible for Briefing/Orientation/Scheduling to ensure all operations personnel are briefed/oriented before deployment
  • Allocates and distributes merchandising requirements (POS, supplies, etc.)
  • Implementation of the Code of Discipline
  • Development or conceptualization of merchandising innovations/ideas and recommendations to client.
  • Recommends seminars/briefing/training further develop merchandiser’s skills.

 

  1. Promotions
  • The Trade Supervisor is also the overall administrator and implementor of all in-store
  • promotional activities/projects. He/She shall ensure the proper implementation of all projects
  • assigned to him/her.
  • He/she shall implement these in-store promotional activities according to the procedures set
  • by Client and APMC.

  1. Operational Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinates directly with Client Area Coordinators (CAC).
  • Plan and organize assigned activities to ensure the effective execution of the project mechanics and procedures.
  • Ensures proper assignment and deployment of people under him.
  • Conducts regular visits of the work areas to closely monitor and supervise the execution of assigned projects.
  • Findings should be immediately discussed with the personnel concerned and immediate superior for immediate corrective actions.
  • Reviews activity reports and other required reports submitted by subordinates.
  • Ensures that reports are accurately prepared and submitted on agreed due dates.
  • Submits progress reports from time to time and update his immediate supervisor on the status of on-going projects. Ensures that procedures and mechanics of the projects are strictly followed.
  • Reviews payroll of personnel under him. Ensures that pay rolling conforms with payroll policies (Gross pay, deductions.etc.)
  • Performs other assignments and functions which may be required from time to time by his Supervisor.
  • Ensures that the Merchandising/Operational Guidelines are strictly followed and implemented.

 

  1. Employee Appraisal
  • Conducts regular performance appraisal of Merchandisers under his fold to ensure achievement of quality level of performance

  1. Financial, Logistics and Stock Accountability
  • The Field Supervisor is accountable for all logistics materials (equipment, materials, supplies, etc.) assigned to his/her personnel
